The GAD Committee adopts the CDA Memorandum No. 2013-22, dated November 12, 2013, to disseminate to all Officers, Staff and Members/Member consumers of the San Jose Waterworks Service Cooperative the GAD mandate of the government. This is to ensure the promotion of gender equality (GE) and institutionalization of GAD in policies, programs and other activities of the cooperative. On the other hand, this shall also mandate the monitoring of progress in the implementation of GAD programs, projects/activities of the cooperative towards achieving Gender Equality.

              Moreover, the purpose of this policy is to ensure that San Jose Waterworks Service Cooperative is maintaining its identity as a community-based financial water service organization practicing the values and principles for which it was founded.  San Jose Waterworks Service Cooperative will ensure that those principles will be translated into business quality service with high degree of professionalism and efficiency in serving dealing with its members and the community as a whole.
