To ensure the sustainability of water supply, the San Jose Waterworks Service Cooperative is engaged in watershed protection and rehabilitation of watershed areas with three bantay gubat regularly doing foot patrol and maintenance activities.
Presently it has six (6) pumping stations servicing almost 10,823 households as of December 2021 in 27 barangays of San Jose de Buenavista, Antique. It has 265 regular Coop members, 10,558 associate members and 60 staff complement.
The Cooperative envision itself as an excellent provider of potable water and service and is committed to fulfill its mission of providing every member-consumer with potable and affordable water; contribute to the socio-economic development of the community; and help preserve and protect the watershed and the environment in general.
