About Us

Presently it has six (6) pumping stations servicing almost 10,823 households as of December 2021 in 27 barangays of San Jose de Buenavista, Antique. It has 265 regular Coop members, 10,558 associate members and 60 staff complement.

The San Jose Waterworks Service Cooperative is also a proud member of the Antique Federation of Cooperatives (AFCCUI) and FONUS Cooperatives Federation- Antique.

Conduct of Water Quality Testing

Bacteriological test is done every month, while physical and chemical impurities are annually tested at a laboratory duly accredited by the Department of Health. These water tests were undertaken to ensure that the water served by SJWSC passes the parameters set by the Philippine National Standard for Drinking Water. Results of the water tests are displayed at conspicuous places visible to consumer-members. Regular residual of chlorine content are also taken regularly. Regular flushing is done at all end points.
